Hey there, I'm Aigerim!

I was born in a small town in Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan. Growing up I saw many of my female cousins never get the chance to follow their dreams.

My family was incredibly supportive though and always pushed me to dream bigger and go after my biggest ambitions.

When we had the opportunity to move to Australia, it felt like my dreams have come true. I studied hard and after university I began my career in investment banking in Sydney, but somehow it didn't quite feel like something I wanted to do.

I made the switch to tech, joining one of Asia’s fastest-growing D2C brands in Singapore. At the same time, I was working on design projects with incredible brands like Klarna and Lululemon while creating content as a passion project.

Through these experiences, I noticed recurring challenges in the marketing space as both part of an internal team and an external team as a content creator.

With the rapid advancements in AI available today, I was inspired to build a startup that addresses these issues, with the goal of making marketing more effective and meaningful for both brands and creators.

problem we are solving
A huge pain point for many brands today is creating high-performing ad creatives: it’s almost always slow (4-8 weeks between iterations), expensive (5-30% of ad spend), or ineffective (the content just doesn’t perform).

While some agencies do a great job, most inflict pain in all three of these ways, while fully AI-generated solutions often lack the authenticity and results needed to fully replace human creators.

We’re solving this with AI: upload 1 of your winning ads and we replicate it with 10 influencers.

We then use AI to turn these videos into 20 different variations to A/B test different hooks, storylines, etc., and then rate them for conversion potential.

This approach combines the speed of AI with the authenticity of human creators, helping brands get better results (ROAS 8+), faster (50-100 video variations generated almost instantly), and at a fraction of the cost ($10-50/video vs $500 or % of ad spend as most agencies do) .

Sylk is focused on helping human creators & brands partner with AI vs. running AI-only made creatives.

The future of content will inevitably have fake AI actors. Despite this, we believe human creators augmented with AI will win (especially if we're helping).

We believe our approach is fundamentally better because it allows brands to utilise human creators' existing audience, and abilities to bring empathy, creativity & authenticity into content which AI simply cannot replicate.

Not to mention, with how fast AI is growing in this market - there will be a lot of low quality content out there, which will make it hard for brands to stand out and grow if they don't manage to bring creativity & feelings of "relatedness" to their content which will ultimately help them build a community around their brand in the long run.
